What is it about cardinals that makes people like them so much? Is it the flash of red as they dart into the bushes, seeking cover from danger or the fact that it reminds them that a loved one is watching over them from the heavens? Maybe it's the perky crest atop their handsome heads. What ever it is cardinals have captured our hearts. I personally love the way the red seems to glow in morning sun.
'Spring Morning" is a 10" by 20" acrylic on canvas and will be headed to Martello Alley on Saturday to accompany my other paintings on display there.
I am at the gallery on Thursdays from 10 to 5. I welcome you to stop in if you are in Kingston and have a visit. If you haven't been to Martello Alley before come and check it out. It is such a wonderful hidden gem.
