Can you believe its November already? Wow time really does fly when you're having fun. It has been a wonderfully full art season for me with lots of shows and exhibits. I have really enjoyed meeting and getting to know some of you personally. This is the time of year that puts me back in the studio, and I love it. Commissions are starting to come in for Christmas. I get asked a lot about what that means. It basically means someone is commissioning me to make a painting based on their photos and their own specifications. Lot of times these are landscapes from photos of their own back yard or favorite place. They are often pet portraits, or portraits of their favorite person. Commission work is the bread and butter of my business and I welcome it. There is still time to have something done in time for Christmas.

I also have some exciting news. Some of my art will be displayed in the gallery at Strévé Design in Perth for the month of November. Three artists, "The Gallery Girls", consisting of Donna McPhail, Claire Jacobs, and myself, have taken over the upper gallery for a show we call "Conspiracy of Creativity". We will be having a Meet and Greet with the artists on Saturday November 18th from 12 to 4 and would love to see you there. If you are interested in attending, please RSVP via email so we know how many people will be coming. Yes, you may bring a friend. While you are in Perth it is a wonderful time to explore the local shops and restaurants. So come for a visit and enjoy the day.
